Diffusion

Diffusion is the commercial activity that precedes distribution: it involves representing and promoting titles to booksellers and retailers, by presenting new releases, taking orders, and following up commercially on the catalog with the network of bookshops.

Distribution

After diffusion, distribution takes over, handling the physical circulation of the book (receiving titles from the publisher, storage, order preparation, shipping parcels and processing returns), alongside the administrative and financial flow (receipt notes, invoicing, credit notes, payment collection, debt recovery).
