Haneek.s is a Paris-based illustrator originally from Guadeloupe.

She grew up in a masculine world, and it was in her teens that she realized the complexity of asserting herself as a black woman. Hannek.s then understood the power ofidentification, which awakened her to the lack of role models in her cultural universe.

She draws her surroundings, especially Disney characters. This practice encouraged her to turn to the graphic arts. Her aim is to create vibrant, universal illustrations that touch everyone in their own way.
